Members of the Rotary Club of Newton recently spent a couple of Saturdays creating a 30-by-40 foot maps of the United States at South Breeze and Slate Creek Elementary schools. The maps can be used to teach geography lessons.

Rotarians have painted maps like these at five area schools. They have also painted maps at North Ridge, Sunset and St. Marys.

The club also donated to South Breeze some playground balls, an elephant portable playground structure and a 27-inch roll laminator.
