Life Enrichment will not meet on Oct. 5.

The Oct. 12 session will feature the following programs:

• 9:30 a.m. — “Turkey Red from 1874 to 2011” by John Ward, farmer and agriculture-related professional, McPherson.

• 10:30 a.m. — “Tumbleweed Tales of Amazing Kansans: Entrepreneurs in Rural Kansas” presented by Ron Wilson, Huck Boyd National Institute for Development, KSU, Kansas Humanities Council.

• 11:35 a.m. — “Newspapers in the Digital Age: Looking to the Future, Chad Frey, managing editor, The Newton Kansan.

Life Enrichment meets Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters in Krehbiel Auditorium in the Bethel College Fine Arts Center. The cost is $2 per week or $20 per semester.
