As a huge Hugh Jackman fan, I'm pretty excited for his new movie "Real Steel," which opens next week in theaters (you can watch the trailer here: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3446840601/).

According to the Internet Movie Database, the film is "a future-set story where robot boxing is a top sport and centered on a struggling promoter (Jackman) who thinks he's found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he also discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father."

I'm not a big fan of boxing films in general, but I like that the makers of this movie are putting a new spin on a well-used genre, giving it more of a sci-fi, futuristic element (sort of like "Rocky" meets "Star Trek").
