Mary Ann (Lighthill, Anders) Harder, 93, passed on Thursday (Sept. 22, 2011).

Mary was born on Nov. 25, 1917, to Louis and Nita (Sims) Lighthill in Little River. She was a housewife, secretary, missionary and Child Evangelism Fellowship volunteer, and was a committed Christian.

She married LaChester Anders on Sept. 25, 1940, to May 17, 1958, and then married Herbert Harder from July 7, 1963, to Oct. 5, 1995.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florence, Elsie and Alice; and husbands, LaChester and Herbert.

She is survived by daughters, Naomi (Wayne) Ford and Lydia (Walt) Schlundt; sons, David (Myrtle) and Daniel (Louise) Anders; sisters, Ruth Lighthill, Lillie Whiteman and Stella Lipps; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, 405 Harrison St., and Little River. Inurnment will be at Bean Memorial Cemetery.
