Members of the Walton community are planning the fourth annual Walton Rural Life Festival for Oct. 8.
Events planned for this year are an antique, classic and custom car, truck and tractor show, games and a money scramble for the kids, live entertainment all day on stage featuring Mike Klose and Friends.
A reception commemorating the 96th reunion of the Walton High School also will take place between 3 and 5 p.m. Booth space is available for arts, antiques and crafts.
Proceeds for the festival will benefit The Walton Rural Life Center. Everyone is welcome to this family event.
If you have an antique, classic or custom vehicle or do arts and crafts and would like to be part of the festival, contact Shirley or John Esau at the Walton State Bank at (620) 837-3143 or Dean Davis at (316) 727-6862.
