Etta D. Rader, 86, died on Wednesday (July 27, 2011) at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

She was born on March, 29, 1925, in Abilene to Harry Ray Rees and Florence (Feik) Rees.

She was a homemaker. On June 5, 1948, she married Alvie Rader in Abilene. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Durham.

Survivors include son, Jerry and Eileen Rader of Durham; daughters, Doneta and Lawrence Kirschenmann of Ree Heights, S.D., and Diana and Tom Hawthorne of Coffeyville; brothers, Marvin Feik, Loyal Feik and Harry (Milton) Feik; sisters, Alma Sexton, Lila Zimmerman, Edith Sanders and Avis Bergman; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Rader, who died in 1995; and husband Alvie Rader in 1985.

Family will receive guests from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Jost Funeral Hoe in Hillsboro.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Durham with Pastor Curtis Wiens officiating. Burial will be in Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.

A memorial has been established with the Etta Rader Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
