Adrian and Luberta (Unruh) McCulloch of Newton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at Salem United Methodist Church, 115 Old Main St. in Newton.


Adrian and Luberta (Unruh) McCulloch of Newton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at Salem United Methodist Church, 115 Old Main St. in Newton.
Their children invite friends and family to help them celebrate.
They were married on Sept. 16, 1951, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Newton by the Rev. C.R. Findley.
Adrian worked for the AT&SF railroad for 42 years, retiring in 1992. Luberta has enjoyed raising their five children, and caring for nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Their children are Bill and Chris McCulloch of Harleysville, Pa., Marcia and Mark Kroeker of Oakbank, Manitoba, Canada, Lisa McCulloch of Newton and friend Chris Frazier, Patrick and Tonja McCulloch of Derby, and Russell McCulloch (deceased 1955 to 2001).
The couple requests no gifts, but cards may be sent to 6917 E. First St., Newton, KS 67114.
Grandchildren are Meagan Waltner and companion Jason Diaz of Newton, Philip, Amy and Jessica Kroeker of Canada, Jay McCulloch of Hesston, Cruz Castillo of Newton, and Jenna, Abigail and Isabella McCulloch of Derby.
Great-grandchildren are Caleb and Colton Waltner and Kaleb and Aidan Diaz of Newton.
