Two persons were arrested by the Harvey County Sheriff’s deparment Thursday when a methamphetamine lab was discovered near Burrton.
The names of those arrested has not been released as of press time.
The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a report of stolen property at 8700 S. Burmac Road in Burrton.
Deputies located two Bobcats identified as stolen property.
During the course of the investigation, a methamphetamine lab was discovered.
A search warrant was exectued and evidence of the lab was gathered.
Taking part in the lab clean up were deputies from the Harvey County Sherriff’s Department, Burrton FireEMS, Newton FireEMS, Butler County Sherriff’s Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigations.
