The Tabor College women’s basketball team ended the season with an 81-48 loss to sixth-ranked Kansas Wesleyan Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference post-season tournament in Salina.


The Tabor College women’s basketball team ended the season with an 81-48 loss to sixth-ranked Kansas Wesleyan Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference post-season tournament in Salina.

Kansas Wesleyan, 28-2, advances to the semifinals 7 p.m. Saturday against Southwestern. Tabor ends the season 11-18.

Wesleyan led 38-23 at the half and continued to pull away in the second half.

Tabor had 25 turnovers to five for the Coyotes.

Stephanie Frost led the Coyotes with 17 points, followed by Montric Santee with 10. Wesleyan used 13 players and all but two scored.

Hannah Paust scored 17 points to lead the Bluejays.
