Phillipsburg won at 152 points, followed by Beloit at 149, Hoisington at 122, Smith Center at 116 and Marysville at 105.5. Marion scored 73.5 points, followed by Hillsboro at 73.

For Marion, senior Randy Regnier finished 4-0 at 125 pounds to win the regional title. Regnier downed Daniel Melcher of Herington 6-3 in the finals. Regnier advances to state 35-3.

Sophomore Brody Carroll finished 4-0 at 130 pounds, downing Adrian Lange of Lyons 3-1 in the championship match. Carroll enters state 38-4.

At 140 pounds, junior Cole Lewman finished 3-2, one win off a state berth. At 145 pounds, senior Andy Shipman finished 3-2, one win shy of a state berth. At 160 pounds, senior Galen Funk finished 3-2, one win shy of a state berth.

At 135 pounds, sophomore Christian Larsen finished 2-2.

Sophomore Eric Regnier finished 1-2 at 119 pounds. At 171 pounds, freshman Zac Lewman finished 0-2.

Hillsboro was led by senior Justin King, who won his first three matches by pin at 145 pounds, then decisioned Braden Larson of Pike Valley in 6-2 in the championship match. King enters state 31-13.

Senior Aaron Bina finished third at 160 pounds at 3-1, downing Kyler Atwood of Smith Center in the consolation finals. Bina enters state 35-9.

Senior Darren Mueller finished fourth at 125 pounds at 3-2, losing to Bow Behymer of Beloit in 46 seconds in the consolation finals. Mueller enters state 30-18.

Senior Dylan Delk finished fourth at 171 pounds at 3-2, falling to Eric Hellerud of Hoisington 8-0 in the consolation finals. Delk enters state 28-11.

At 152 pounds, sophomore Tanner Jones finished 3-2, one win shy of a state berth. At 130 pounds, junior Bret Mueller finished 1-2. At 135 pounds, freshman Cody Delk finished 0-2. At 189 pounds, senior Matt Wiebe finished 0-2.
