The jury trial of a man accused of murdering a 19-month old North Newton toddler has been continued.
Chad Carr is accused of beating and suffocating his girlfriend’s son, Vincent Hill, in March.
The trial is now set to start April 25. A settlement conference has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. March 11.
In an unrelated case, Carr also is charged with sexual exploitation of a child for allegedly possessing child pornography. Erotic material containing images of children was found in the home where Carr lived with his mother and brother, Chris. Chris Carr also is charged in that case.
Chad Carr’s pre-trial hearing on the porn charges has been continued to March 11 to coincide with the settlement conference in the murder case.
