n Evening Prayer Rite II will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel.

n 7 a.m. — the rescheduled First Presbyterian Church Man Trip to Kansas City will depart from the parking lot, returning in the evening.
n 9 a.m. — The First Presbyterian Church women and guests will meet at The Breadbasket for breakfast.
Sunday
The First Presbyterian Church on Columbus Avenue two blocks north of West Broadway, will provide a nursery for all morning services.
n 9:15 to 10:10 a.m. — Sunday school classes for all ages will be in the church classrooms.
n 10:10 to 10:30 a.m. — Fellowship time will be in the narthex.
n 10:30 a.m. — The worship service will be in the sanctuary, with Pastor Anderson delivering the message. The chancel choir will sing the introit and the worship anthem.
n 5 to 7 p.m. — The middle school youth group will meet at the church.
n 6:30 to 8:30 — The high school youth group will meet at the church.

n 7:15 a.m. — The First Presbyterian Church middle and high school youth groups will meet at Druber’s for devotions, fellowship and doughnuts

n 8 a.m. — The Bible at Breakfast group will meet at C.J.’s Pancake House for Bible study and breakfast. The group is open to all who are interested in attending.
n 3 to 8 p.m. — There will be a prayer vigil in the chapel at the church.

n 7 p.m. — The chancel choir will rehearse in the choir loft.

n 9 a.m. Feb. 27 to  9 a.m. on Feb. 27 — The youth group of the church will have a 24-hour Fast for Hunger.

n Spiritual Renewal Sunday. There will be a special worship service, followed by a church dinner in the Fellowship Hall.
n 4 p.m. — Scout Troop No. 123’s Blue and Gold Banquet will be at the church.

n St. Luke welcomes the Rev. Larry Cracraft of Wichita.
Join them for a continental breakfast from  8:30 to 9 a.m. Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m. They have classes for all ages. They have a nursery available during the Sunday school hour and during their worship time for children ages birth through 3 years old.
Worship service is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 808 E. Sixth St. in Newton. They offer children’s church for ages 3 years through third grade.

First Mennonite
Feb. 26
n HALSTEAD — The First Mennonite Church in Halstead will have a Verenike supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the church, 427 W. Fourth St. in Halstead.
The menu includes verenike, ham gravy, sausage, green beans, zwieback, pie and cherry moos. Proceeds will go to the high school youth group’s annual service trip.
