The Hillsboro High School volleyball team was eliminated from state competition after a 1-2 finish in pool play Friday at the Bicentennial Center.


The Hillsboro High School volleyball team was eliminated from state competition after a 1-2 finish in pool play Friday at the Bicentennial Center.

Hillsboro opened with a 25-23, 25-22 win over Southeast Cherokee. The Trojans then lost to Atchison County 25-16, 25-16 and Osage City 25-18, 25-14.

Atchison County and Osage City each advance to the semifinals today.

Hillsboro ends the season 31-12.
