The Newton Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon cutting for the Cooper Early Education Center at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
The celebration represents the culmination of the district-wide bond initiative passed in 2007.
The completion of the Cooper expansion is especially gratifying as it represents the fruition of a long-term vision to bring together the majority of early childhood education service providers in one place, a news release said.
Cooper now houses Kidstart at-risk preschool, Special Ed preschool, Headstart, Parents as Teachers, Communities In Schools and will soon be home to Newton Community Childcare Center.
The public is invited. Tours of the facility will be provided following the ribbon cutting.
