Bring the whole family to enjoy a free puppet show with an autumn theme at Newton Public Library, 720 North Oak St., on Wednesday.
One show will begin at 10 a.m., and a repeat show will be given at 4 p.m. The stories include, “Leaf Trouble,” “The Lazy Porcupine,” “Pumpkin Soup,” “Five Little Pumpkins,” “Did You Say Ghosts?,” “A Hunting We Will Go,” and “I Feel Pretty,” by the Ugly Sisters Puppet Band.
The voices and hands behind the puppets belong to Amy Bayes, youth services supervisor, and Jon Duerksen, head shelver and library aide.
