JP Weigand of Newton hired Clarissa Bontrager as a sales associate.

Bontrager graduated from Buhler High School, then went on to obtain her bachelor of science degree in business at Central Christian College in McPherson.

Previously, she worked as an accountant.

“I like to help people make the best financial decisions for their future, and being an accountant has given me a solid background in understanding the financial aspect of real estate,” she said.

Bontrager is married to Eric and has three children, Hannah, 6; and Emma and Cade, 3.

They spent most of their married life in McPherson and have lived in Newton for five years.

Bontrager and her family are active members of Koerner Heights Mennonite Brethern.
