The Goessel High School Choir will present its Fall Concert “Songs of the Children: Hope for a Better World” on at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Goessel High School auditorium.


The Goessel High School Choir will present its Fall Concert “Songs of the Children: Hope for a Better World” on at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Goessel High School auditorium.
The concert will feature texts written by or for children including “Children’s Letters to God” by Shearer, “The Seal Lullaby” by Whitacre, “Lambscapes” by Barnes, “Can You Hear by Papoulis” and “Circle of Life” by Elton John. The Elbiata Singers also will perform during the concert.
Donations will be collected to benefit children in war-torn Afghanistan and Iraq. The choir is directed by Renae Schmidt Peters and accompanied by Marcia Brubaker and senior Michelle Unruh.
