There will be fresh, local produce at the Harvey County Farmers Market, which will open for the season Saturday. It will be from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at the Salvation Army, 314 N. Main St. in Newton.


There will be fresh, local produce at the Harvey County Farmers Market, which will open for the season Saturday. It will be from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at the Salvation Army, 314 N. Main St. in Newton.
Local produce and baked goods will be for sale to the public.
The Tuesday Farmers Market will open on June 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the same location.
Both markets will run through the end of the growing season.
