Peace Connections, on behalf of the Kids Summer Food & Activities Task Force, would like to express our appreciation to the Kid’s FUNd grant for the recent award for the 2010 Kid’s Summer Food & Activity Program.
The Kids Summer Food & Activities program offers free breakfasts and lunches to children ages one through 18 in Newton and activities to school-aged children.
The Kid’s FUNd grant makes it possible to have the program by funding part of the director and coordinator positions.
We are grateful for the support of such a needed and important community endeavor for our children and youth.
