The “Images of Paraguay” exhibition that is co-hosted by the Carriage Factory Gallery and Kauffman Museum will close this weekend after a three-month display.


The “Images of Paraguay” exhibition that is co-hosted by the Carriage Factory Gallery and Kauffman Museum will close this weekend after a three-month display. The Carriage Factory Gallery in downtown Newton is showing contemporary art from Paraguay, much of which was collected by Kansans during cultural exchanges through Kansas-Paraguay Partners. Carriage Factory Gallery is open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and is at 128 E. Sixth St.

Gallery admission is free to the public.

Kauffman Museum at Bethel College is featuring ethnographic and folk art and is open 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Kauffman Museum is at 27th and North Main streets in North Newton. Museum admission is $4 for adults and $2.00 for children. For more information, contact Kauffman Museum at 283-1612.
