A “thank you” goes to our Amtrak station agent.

On Dec. 9, we had icy blizzard conditions here and there and the train was four hours late.

That made no difference to the agent — he was at the tracks when I got off, took my luggage in the car and waited until I was safely inside. That deed was greatly appreciated and was something beyond his call of duty. Thanks again. Your agent is certainly a thoughtful, compassionate person!
