A recent fund-raising event for Newton Bible Christian School showed the interest of area businesses in supporting the schools in our community.

Our school had a golf tournament and walk-a-thon to raise money for playground equipment.

The management of Fox Ridge Golf Course went out of its way to make sure our event was a success. Kevin Cole of Little Caesarís made sure our walkers and golfers were well fed at the end of the events.

The school would like to thank the following businesses that contributed to the success of the tournament by sponsoring holes and donating prizes: Miller Insurance Agency Inc., Partridge Auto Supply, Claassen Hardware and Lumber Co., Petersen Family Funeral Home, Kemp Financial Services, Newton Medical Center, Little Caesarís, Bank of the West, Searís/Kmart, Hinz Motors, Sedgwick/Halstead Vet Clinic, Wal-Mart, Alco, Dillons, Bumper to Bumper, Graberís Hardware, Curtis Cís, Montana Mikeís and Anytime Fitness.

Special thanks also go to school board members Tony Baker and Darrell McDaniel for all their work.

The staff and students are grateful to all who made the day a huge success.

Thank you!

ó Don Kelton,

principal of Newton Bible Christian School
