MMA, a national faith-based financial services organization, presented Mike Miller, CFP, its MMA Trust/Mennonite Foundation Representative of the Year Award May 2 at its national conference in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Miller is a trust and foundation representative for MMA’s Direct West district.

He earned the award for his professional competence, customer service and ability to advance the organization’s vision of helping people with their finances and their faith, a news release said.

“I feel very lucky to be in a position where you love what you do and feel like you’re really helping people,” Miller said.

Rod Diller, senior vice president of distribution for MMA said, “Mike had significant production for the foundation in helping people plan to recognize and support the charities and causes they’re passionate about.”

Miller serves individuals, families and institutions with their charitable giving, trust and investment needs.

Before joining MMA in 1991, he was a financial planner in Hutchinson.

Miller has a bachelor’s degree in history from Williams College in Massachusetts and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.

He and his wife, Lois, have three children and attend First Mennonite Church in Hutchinson.
