Hesston High School graduate Adam Weaver signed a letter of intent to play soccer and tennis at Hesston College beginning this fall.
Weaver played two years of tennis, four years of football and two years of basketball at Hesston High.
“Adam comes from a strong tennis program and has a lot of upside,” Hesston College tennis coach Jeron Baker said. “The pace of his serve and his potential to unload on his groundstrokes can help us immensely. Adam’s experience in high school soccer and tennis will also bring mental toughness and competitiveness.”
Weaver was on the honor roll for four years at Hesston High. He is a member of Whitestone Mennonite Church and is active in the youth group. He attended Mennonite Church USA national conventions in Charlotte, N.C., and San Jose.
