The Wichita Wild will attempt to get to the .500-mark in a road game against the Sioux City Bandits at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Bandits won the first meeting between the two teams this season 30-28. Sioux City is 2-6 while Wichita is 4-5.
Wichita downed Odessa 61-42 last week at Hartman Arena. Randy Kelly had two kick returns for a touchdown — one a kickoff and one a missed field goal — and added an interception return for a score. Kelly was named the Indoor Football League special teams player of the week.
Sioux City is coming off a bye week, but beat the Colorado Ice two weeks ago. Quarterback Scott Jensen has 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions since taking over the starting role in the fourth game of the season.
