The American Cancer Society is looking for cosmetologists interested in volunteering as a Look Good...Feel Better facilitator for the Harvey County area.

Trained Look Good...Feel Better facilitators help women undergoing cancer treatment feel good about their appearance by helping them cope with treatment-related side effects, such as dry skin, hair loss and skin discoloration.

Volunteer facilitators assist women with information on everything from makeup application to wig care.

The Look Good...Feel Better program is a partnership of the Personal Care Products Foundation, the National Cosmetology Association, and the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
