Kendra Flaming scored 10 points for Goessel. Laura Patrick scored 14 points for Central Christian.

ELBING — Kayla Eilert and Janelle Rust each scored 17 points to lead Berean Academy to a 48-41 win over Wichita Trinity Academy Tuesday in the Eli J. Walter Invitational.

Down 34-30 after three quarters, Berean made an 18-7 run in the fourth quarter, hitting nine of 10 free throws.

Sarah Penner and Melissa Brewer each scored nine points for Trinity.

Berean Academy plays Goessel at 6 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals. Central Christian plays Trinity Academy play at 6 p.m. Thursday in the old gym in consolation play.
