WICHITA The Newton Home School Panther boys downed Wichita Adventist Academy 65-58 Tuesday in Wichita.

The Panthers led 32-31 at the half.

Jarrett Holle led the Panthers with 21 points, followed by Zach Olliver with 18 and Ryan Kliewer with 10.

The Panthers play Tuesday against the Reno County Home School Sabres.

Hesston 80, Chapman 41

HESSTON The Hesston Swathers downed Chapman 80-41 Tuesday in non-league play.

Rob Moore scored 17 points for Hesston, followed by Alex Roth with 12, Cole Jost with 12 and Michael Janzen with 11.

Hesston plays Halstead Tuesday at home.

BURRTON The Burrton Chargers fell to Pretty Prairie 65-59 Tuesday.

The loss came despite 39 points from Alex Santiago. Tad Davis scored 15 points.

Tanner Hines scored 22 points for Pretty Prairie, followed by Bristol Broce with 13, Seth Hastings with 10 and Keith Zerger with 10.

The two teams play again Tuesday in Pretty Prairie.
