Sunday

• First Presbyterian Church Sunday school classes for all ages will be at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at the church. Fellowship time will be from 10:10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the narthex. Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jim Anderson preaching. The Christmas hymn “All My Heart Today Rejoices” will be sung by the chancel choir.

• St. Luke Presbyterian Church asks residents to join them Sunday as Pastor Paul Wissink concludes his series with “Touch the Forgotten” from Luke 2:8-20.

Worship service is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 808 E. Sixth St., Newton. They offer Sunday school classes for all ages, which starts at 9:15 a.m. Child care is available during the service and Sunday school. They also offer children’s church during the service.

• St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church will have Sunday school for all ages at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church. Morning prayer will be led by Diane Kruger at 10:15 a.m.

Tuesday

• St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church will have its payee program from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
