Students in the seventh grade connections groups at Chisholm Middle School have been working to make Christmas a little merrier for American soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan this year.

The Christmas In A Box program, coordinated through KFDI radio station, collects and sends boxes of decorations, cards, letters, snacks, personal items and entertainment items to troops who are stationed overseas during the holidays. Students participated in the program under the coordination of teacher Gary Ewert, and KFDI representatives visited the school to help with the project kick-off. The students collected 11 large boxes of items to send to the soldiers and packed them to be shipped overseas.
