PrairieLand Foods, which offers reduced-cost food packages to all residents, has announced its December menu.
The Prairie Pak is $24 plus one hour of volunteer service and includes one pound each of white turkey strips, cocktail smokies with cheese, beef stew meat, boneless center cut pork chops; 12 ounces of Canadian bacon; potatoes; baby carrots; cauliflower; apples; oranges; pears; and a thaw-and-serve pumpkin pie.
December specials are:
No. 1: Holiday meat and cheese box for $18 plus one hour of volunteer service, with 8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, 9 ounces of beef summer sausage, 8 ounces of mild cheddar cheese, 9 ounces of summer sausage, 8 ounces of Monterrey Jack cheese, and 9 ounces of beef summer sausage.
No. 2: Holiday shrimp box for $17 plus one hour of volunteer service, with 3 pounds of pre-cooked jumbo breaded shrimp in two bags.
No. 3: Christmas dinner ham for $22 plus one hour of volunteer service, with a 9-pound bone-in spiral ham.
