Jim Giffin, 64, Leonís Market owner, loving son, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Saturday (Sept. 27, 2008).

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Plymouth Congregational Church, 402 N. Commercial St. in Sedgwick.


Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.


Jim Giffin, 64, Leonís Market owner, loving son, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Saturday (Sept. 27, 2008).

Jim was thankful for all his friends in golfing, fishing, hunting, deer processing and playing cards. He had a huge love for the outdoors and hunting, but most of all he had unending love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Jason and Tina Giffin of Valley Center, Kent and Stefanie Giffin of Sedgwick, Cort and Kristi Giffin of Sedgwick, and Jerrod and Jamie Giffin of Sedgwick; grandchildren, Jordan, Tanner, Olivia, Dodger, Cassidy, Hunter, Morgan, Claudia, Nick and Bella, and Gage and Regan; mother, Theta Giffin of Sedgwick; brothers, Joe and Mary Ann Giffin of Wichita, Jerry and Darlene Giffin of Little Rock, Ark.; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Giffin, and niece, Cammy Haynes.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Plymouth Congregational Church, 402 N. Commercial St. in Sedgwick.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
