Sunday• First Presbyterian Church will have Sunday school classes for all ages at 9:15 a.m., followed by fellowship time at 10:10 a.m. in the narthex. Worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. • St. Luke Presbyterian Church will continue its series of sermons on “Hallowed Be Thy Name” in the names of God. Tuesday • First Presbyterian Church youth will meet at 7 a.m. at Druber’s for donuts and fellowship. Wednesday • The General Christian Women’s Fellowship of First Christian Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the sanctuary to see a film of the women’s trip to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Monthly service project is the Karen School of Nursing in Haiti. Lydia Group will be hostesses. • The Women’s Fellowship of the United Church of Christ will meet at 2 p.m. at the church, 210 E. Fourth. Priscilla Musser will be hostess and give devotions and the program. • First Presbyterian Church bell choir will rehearse at 6 p.m., followed by chancel choir rehearsal at 7 p.m. Thursday • The Walton United Methodist Women will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mary Higgins, 313 Walton Ave. in Walton. Higgins will lead the pledge service. Hostesses will be Higgins and Pat Tieszen. • St. Mary’s Altar Society will meet at 7 p.m. at St. Mary School Cafeteria, 101 E. Ninth in Newton. The meeting will be an organization session for the annual bazaar. Hostesses will be Phyllis Prouty and Bernice Capps.
