The Board of Directors of Kidron Bethel Village, a continuing-care retirement center in North Newton, announced the resignation of Richard Heim as CEO, effective Sept 26.

“As a board, we regret Rich’s resignation with our facility,” said Kaye Penner, chairwoman of the board. “He has been at Kidron for nine and one- half years. Under his leadership, we have added the Suderman Assisted Living Centre, have updated Health Care with the Neighborhoods Project, and have expanded independent living with the home in Campus Woods Estates.”

Heim has resigned to take another position.

“An excellent management team has functioned well under his leadership,” Penner said. “The facility has earned a number of awards within the organizations to which it belongs. We are deeply grateful to Rich, and to God, for faithful leadership.”
