Jean T. Dick, 67, died Monday (Aug. 25, 2008) at Sedgwick Healthcare Center in Sedgwick.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead.


Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Valley Center, with the Rev. Dennis Livingston officiating.


Jean T. Dick, 67, dental assistant, homemaker and former Valley Center resident, died Monday (Aug. 25, 2008) at Sedgwick Healthcare Center in Sedgwick.

She was born Feb. 21, 1941, in Joplin, Mo., to Charles Tilden and Thelma Lorraine (Aggus) Strickland. They preceded her in death.

She was a member of Valley Center First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Earl Dick of Valley Center; daughter, Jena Krise of Homewood, Ala.; brother, James Strickland of Clifton, Colo.; and grandson, Trever Dick, and granddaughter, Kayleigh Dick, both of Valley Center.
