Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve’s third-annual Prairie Quilt Display will be during Labor Day weekend.

Those who would like to display a quilt during the show are asked to call the preserve before Wednesday to reserve a space.

View local quilts on display at the historic limestone barn from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 30 and 31 and Sept. 1 and vote for your favorite quilt. At 1 p.m. Sept. 1, the winner will be announced.

Quilting demonstrations will be available all three days, and visitors will have the opportunity to learn from National Park Service rangers and local experts about the origins of quilting, traditional designs and modern techniques.
