  • The descendants of Henry H. and Sarah K. (Fretz) Rodgers met July 27, 2008, at King Memorial Park in Hesston.

    A time of sharing, memories, pictures and fellowshipping was enjoyed by all with 52 in attendance.

    A time of sharing, memories, pictures and fellowshipping was enjoyed by all with 52 in attendance.

    Joe and Ashleigh (Bazil) Parker and son Holden came the farthest from Oklahoma City with son Holden being the youngest at 1 year old.

    The oldest was Edith (Rodgers) Wiley, age 92.

    Others from out of town were: Shirley and Cliff Koehn of Wichita; Richard and Romona Hare, Ruth (Wiley) Solon, and David Wiley, all of Park City; Lon and Sharon (Hartman) Jantz of Galva; Karen (Rodgers) Nikkel of Lehigh; Helen Coffman and daughter Chris Tuner, both of Emporia; and Mark, Cindy, Matthew and Michaela Riley, all of Olathe.

    Attending from Newton were Doris (Rodgers) and David Bazil, Mark and Cristy (Rodgers) Willingham and sons Dagan and Max, Lee R. Rodgers, Janelle (Rodgers) and Chris Stucky with Dayton and Skylre, Erin and Justin Pilgrim and son Justin, Patty Dreier, Desi Rodgers, Mike and Debi Rodgers, Leva (Rodgers) Bickford, Dennis Rodgers, Charlie and Barbara Riley, Jeanenne (Rodgers) Alumbaugh, Chester and Evelyn Hartman, Debbie Hartman, Kent Hartman, Juell Hartman, Charles L. Rodgers, Harold and Andrea Rodgers, and Chuck and Neva (Rodgers) Riley.
