Alana Beard scored 17 points before fouling out and Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 12 points and a season-high 13 rebounds for the Mystics (6-8), who have won four of five.

Candace Parker scored 17 points and Leslie had 16 points and five blocks for the Sparks (10-4).

Currie scored with 1:39 left in overtime and that was enough despite the Mystics having committed three turnovers on three consecutive possessions.

But the Sparks missed all eight of their shots in overtime, including Leslieís shot with 1:16 left and Raffaella Masciadriís 3-point attempt with 39.9 seconds remaining.
