“NBC Nightly News” anchorman Brian Williams apologized last night for saying he had been aboard a helicopter in Iraq that had been hit by enemy fire. Williams was in Iraq in 2003 when a helicopter about an hour ahead of his was hit. Over the years Williams has repeatedly claimed he was on the hit helicopter, but last night he said it wasn’t true.
