Since having weight-loss surgery, I set many personal goals.My first — and most important — goal was to get off my prescribed medications for high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Mission accomplished.Another goal was that I wanted to lose 100 pounds by Thanksgiving. Once again, it was mission I accomplished with even a few weeks to spare.By the time you read this column, I would have achieved another personal goal. This one was to walk in a 5K race.
