Mr. and Mrs. Eli J. Walter of Elbing will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family get-together at a later date.
Adeline Wipf and Eli J. Walter were married July 19, 1945, in Huron, S.D.

The couple has three children, Kathie and Jack Girst of Hutchinson, Randy and Judy Walter of Hutchinson, and Daryl and Diane Walter of Newton.
There are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Walter is retired, having worked almost 30 years at Berean Academy in Elbing, and Adeline is retired, having worked at Berean Academy as a secretary and being a homemaker.
