Delbert and Hazel Wiebe of Whitewater will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 7 at Grace Community Church, Fireside Room, 1600 S. Anderson Ave. in Newton.

Delbert Wiebe and Hazel Chapple were married Nov. 3, 1959, at Emmaus Mennonite Church.
Since that time, they have resided in rural Whitewater.
They had a dairy for 35 years, and they continue to farm.
Hosts for the celebration will be their children and their spouses: Delwin Wiebe of Ohio, Ill., Phil and Lorene Lohrenz of Burrton, Alan and Marilyn Mueller of Halstead, Karen Wiebe of Newton, Dan and Kerry Wiebe of Florence, and David and Marlene Wiens of Hesston.
The couple has 10 grandchildren.
