Jim and Jill Lathen of Halstead will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
James Lathen and Jill Jennings were married on Aug. 15, 1969, in Delta Junction, Alaska.
Jim works for Spirit Aerosystems as a budget analyst, and Jill retired in May from Aegis Health Care as a speech-language pathologist.
Jim and Jill have three children: son Travis Lathen of Halstead; daughter Erin Lathen of Wichita; honorary daughter/son-in-law Myrna and Jim Bethards of Halstead; and four grandchildren, Avery, Dylan, Coltyn and Wyatt Bethards.
Jim and Jill’s family will honor them with a come-and-go celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at 422 Spruce St. in Halstead.
