Hostetler couple celebrating 50th wedding anniversary

HESSTON — Joseph L. and Norma J. Hostetler of Hesston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 26. Joe retired as the director of the Media Resource Center at Butler Community College in 2003, and Norma retired as the baker in food services at Hesston College in 2005.
Joseph L. Hostetler and Norma J. Hershberger were married on April 26, 1958, by Bishop Elmer Swartzendruber at Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church near Wellman, Iowa.
They are the parents of four children, Keith and Beth Hostetler of Hesston, Carol Hostetler (deceased 1985), Charles Hostetler of Hesston and Kurt Hostetler of Hesston; and two grandchildren.
They will celebrate their anniversary with an open house reception hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. May 11 at the Hesston Mennonite Church Community Center, 309 S. Main, Hesston. The couple requests no gifts.
