Clarence and Thelma Wedel of Burns celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with immediate family Nov. 15.
Clarence Wedel and Thelma Anne Andres were married Dec. 1, 1959, at Zion Mennonite Church in Elbing.
Hosting the event were their children and their spouses: Gary and Sharon Wedel of Burns, Karen Wedel of Wichita, and Cynthia and Lawrence Bessent of Benton.
Their grandchildren are Matthew Wedel, Timothy Wedel and Kristyn Wedel of Burns, and Sydney Bessent and Taylor Bessent of Benton.
