Raymond and Gladys Regier of North Newton will be honored for their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. July 31 at Bethel College Mennonite Church, 2600 College Ave. in North Newton.
Raymond Regier and Gladys Dester were married on Aug. 4, 1950, at Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Deer Creek, Okla.
They resided in rural Moundridge until retirement and then moved to North Newton.
He is a retired farmer, and she was a teacher until the early 1960s and then became a farm wife.
Hosting the event are their children and their spouses: Patrice and Jim Krause of Lawrence, Bruce and Sarah Regier of Moundridge, and Bruce and Chistine Toews of McKinney, Texas.
