Duvanels to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Frank and Janet Duvanel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Palmyra Baptist Church, Northwest 10th and Butler Road in Benton.

Frank Duvanel and Janet (Ulmer) were married Oct. 10, 1959, at Palmyra. Both attended Emporia State University. Frank graduated in 1960 with a bachelor of science degree in education and Janet majoring in business. They were actively involved in farming and ranching until retirement.

They have two daughters, Tamra (Mark) Unruh of Newton and Kelly Duvanel of Wichita, and two grandsons, Henry and Clinton Unruh, also of Newton.

Please let your presence at the open house be your present to them.
